adventures in $12.50

this summer we've experimented with our notorious $12.50 sale, which is advertised as 50%off our normal price of $25. in the beginning it was making a few of us nuts having to speed up and almost half fast yourself for a sale, but every once in awhile you feel like yourself and time some how slows down, and u create somethine worth while...and u made a buck, a flat rate of that $12.50. hey! it adds up. u can still have fun. these r thoughs few drawings. enjoy

thank you

Great stuff. Price should never dictate how well you do a drawing IMO. It's YOUR art that's on display who CARES how much it costs. I know artists who say, and I used to BE one of em, "oh, I wont do AS good a pic because it's ONLY "X" amount" Then it occurred to me that person walking away with a lousy drawing that has my signature on it. That MY reputation and image he's walking around with, and a poor one at THAT. So I resolved to make EVERY drawing my PERSONAL BEST for that time. Money will come and go as it always does but my REP and yours as well HAS no Price Tag. That is what separates a TRUE artist from a Theme Park Drawing HACK . Ask yourself, which one are YOU?
Sorry for the sermon... had to get that out. Great stuff Andy.

i hear yah elgin, but youre preachin to the choir.
its just that within three minutes, people just want something thats a face with some color on it. but what i was trying to explain was that sometimes within all of this chaos, u could actually manage to get away with some style. i hate givin something lame out....in most cases if it is just a lame park sketch i just scribble my last name sloppy....hahahahahaha

problem solved. :)

It's always real eye candy to see how you pull your shapes. Especially in the noses. Really great work.
